I am only interested in getting a notification when a new device goes on the network that has never been scanned before. I am not interested in getting notifications when I or the rest of the family comes and goes. How do I separate the notification to show me a truly new device on the network?

I have 47 plus devices on my home network. $45 dollars for home use is a big step for an amateur using it for their home.

You can use the 'cumulative' mode to only monitor for devices that have not been previously seen. If you use this in conjunction with 'display ping status' you should have a clear idea of who is currently active at any given moment.
