Issues with reports? 1) duplicates and 2) values in record from other device.

New user here (IP Scanner Home). Confused about what seems to be odd behavior in reports. See sample tab delimited report below.

Re 1) duplicates. What would explain the triplicate record in the report below for device with MAC 40:CB:C0:CE:AD:02? It's an Apple TV that has just been sitting there with no configuration change. (Although clearly it changed IP. Why would a changed IP result in a duplicate record? Shouldn't IP Scanner be able to see that the device moved IPs without creating a separate representation of it? Isn't the MAC address recognized as a primary key for the device?)

Re 2) values in record from other device. Look at records 10-14 below. Note how the DNS name of the computer from duplicate records 10 & 11 are showing up in the records 12 & 13. What's up with that?

Yes - that is very odd. We will do some more testing with the reports feature.

Apple TVs do have a feature known as the Bonjour Sleep Proxy which can sometimes cause havoc with scan reports. More info:
