I purchased DropCopy Pro in 2014 in the Appstore. due to a hard disk error i had to install the macOs new.
So i clicked on the install button in the App Store and downloaded the app again but i can't open it.
While starting the app for the first time the apple ID and Password window poos up and tells me to enter the apple id and the password where the app was purchased with. Due to the fact that I have only one ID it s easy i thought but the app doesn't start.
A second click on the app icon in Launch app brings nothing.

It sounds like something is wrong with the prefs file, or possibly you might have been running an older version that came over with your backed-up system. First, delete all copies of DropCopy you can find. Then, download it again from the AppStore. Finally, if you are still getting a crash-on-launch, hold down the option and command keys while launching the app and choose the option to reset the prefs.
