I'm having problems with Hiding Drop Copy 1.4.7 from the Dock. On my MacBookPro 10.5.2 it works but on several others it does not hide it. Everyone then has a tendency to Quit it. Anything special I need to do besides clicking the preference “Hide DropCopy Icon in Dock” What does it update when checking that checkbox?

Hi -

it updates a special flag (which is not really user editable) which interacts with the OS to tell it to ignore DropCopy when compiling the list of running apps. The sure-fire way to troubleshoot this is to flip the checkbox to on, quit the app. Relaunch, then flip the switch to off, quit, then relaunch. It should then not appear in the dock.
