The menu icon duplicates itself in Mavericks.

can you give us a bit more info on how this occurs - does a new circle get added with each restart, or do they all appear at the same time? Also, does it appear that there are really multiple instances of DropCopy running, or does one instance produce all of these menu icons?

When switching an application or folder to full-sceen mode and back again. The more you enter and exit the screen mode the more DropCopy creates/duplicates an extra 'menu item' in the menu bar (2 at a time). the odd thing is, it's only a representation of the icon, you can't click the menu item it and expect it to function. It deletes the recurring clone as you click on the menu item until only the real item is left and then functions normally.

OK - we are working on DropCopy right now with the GM build of Mavericks (13A598) and cannot reproduce the problem. Can you check which build of mavericks you are using, and list specific steps to recreate the problem (i.e. which apps are you making fullscreen, and are you doing this via key-commands or clicking in the right corner of the menubar, etc)

I'm seeing this too in 10.9 GM (13A598) on my Mac Pro, but not on my Macbook Pro.

It's very strange - I have two monitors, and when I click on the DropCopy circle in one menu bar, an instance of the circle disappears from that one, and appears on the other monitor's menu bar.

They show up initially right after booting.

Only the leftmost icon is active. Clicking on any other icon instance makes one (probably the one clicked on) disappear until there is only one.

There is only one DropCopy process running.

Using the GM build (13A598)

Dual monitor setup required
- Launch drop copy
- In either window make any app full-scren by either clicking the 'Enter full screen' icon on the upper left of the app or folder, etc.., using the key command 'Command+Control+F, OR from the view menu select 'Enter full screen'.
- Each time an app or folder goes into full screen mode, the menu bar icon will duplicate itself on one monitor only and the other monitor will be fine. You will notice a 'flicker' of the DropCopy menu icon each time 'Enter full screen' is entered and exited.

Just for completeness, I'm running several other menu bar based apps - Creative Cloud, VMWare Fusion, Alfred, Tweetbot, DropBox, and iStat menus. All of which are up to date.

I also tested this in a new user account with all the above mention menu item app turned OFF and I am able to repeat the problem.
