First, Wonderful program and for the 1 to 2 times I have yet to need to transfer files around my network this is such a great app. thanks!
Now to the subject. Thought you should know that a port scan of 5052 when drop copy is runnong causes drop copy to 'crash' after a few seconds and has to be restarted to continue to use it. This is confirmed on the 3 machines I (now) have running it. i used the command
nmap -p 5052 localhost
as an example as well as using the actuall hostname and to another machine for a remote portscan (these are ll machines I own, inside my network)
This will lead to another problem I have but this post is more informational rather than support break/fix.
We revisited this recently and could not get it to crash by simply running nmap against it. If anyone can confirm that this is still an issue, please give us the steps necessary to provoke the crash and we'll address it!
